    Cascades Gardens is situated in the village of Bonsall, on the edge of the Peak District. Dating back to 1823, this Georgian property is set within 4 acres of lush gardens, and offers unique rooms wi (Read More)th flat-screen TVs. Each with its own theme, the elegant rooms at Cascades Gardens feature a large separate bathroom with free toiletries and garden views. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided. Free WiFi available throughout the property. With its many waterfalls, the extensive gardens feature hosts of unusual shrubs and flowers including snowdrops, hellebores and daffodils. Guests can enjoy spectacular views from the cliff top paths and buy unusual plants in the nursery. The accommodation is within the grounds of a public RHS partner garden. It is a Japanese inspired Meditation garden. The nursery includes a Bonsai centre. The guests receive free access to the garden during their stay. Bonsall has two 17th-century pubs with real ales and good pub food, both within walking distance of the B&B. There is a range of international restaurants just a few miles away. Located within 3 miles of Matlock, the B&B is a 20-minute drive from the historic Chatsworth House, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The 12th-century Haddon Hall is also 20 minutes’ drive away. Free parking is available.

    cleanliness could have been better.. there mould in every corner of the room.. heaters doesnt work well the sheets n pillows were dusty

    Alan was a very friendly and knowledgeable host. The bedroom and bath was beautiful. It was like a home from home. We slept soundly and felt very relaxed each morning. The local pub was great too.

    Wonderful stay. Well definitely be back next year.
    Everything! Beautiful setting. Facilities were excellent. Breakfast was lovely.
    If we had to pick something, a full English doesnt have a has brown on it - should be black pudding or Derbyshire oatcake. Didnt spoil anything though.

    Very unique place in a truely beautiful setting
    We felt very welcome from start to finish. The detached barn is a great size and very comfortable. The gardens and views were lovely in the frost and snow. Well be back in the summer to see it again in full bloom. Thank you Alan for the local information and homely cooked breakfast.
    Like other reviews do take an extra blanket and some slippers for the winter months although it hit -5 during our stay and we still made the room nice and cozy.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation and the Host was informative, interesting and happy to help.
    The breakfast was delicious as the food was great quality. We couldnt fault our stay and the location was great for visiting the area, scenic and picturesque.

    Not good. Would not stay again or recommend.
    Nice big tv, good selection of tea / coffee and fresh milk. Nice dressing gowns. Nice garden.
    Stayed in the garden cottage which was absolutely freezing cold. One storage heater in the bedroom which was totally inadequate. Had to go to sleep in clothes and a dressing gown. The blanket provided smelt disgusting with damp, seemed it hadn't been washed in a long time. Large damp patch on the wall, picture enclosed. Wouldn't stay here again!
