Exceptional

We really enjoyed the space, location, and the ability to cook our own food!

Location was great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants was acceptable. The market is right around the corner, which was incredibly convenient.

It could be helpful to have a streaming device on the TV so guests can use services such as Netflix or connect their devices to the large screen TV. Not a major concern, but just a friendly suggestion.

We loved Marseilles and property location is good for beach and old port.

Spacious

The property is on a busy street and the constant sound of traffic was intrusive. Furnishings seemed the worse for wear - nothing very bad but for instance a panel in the bedroom door was broken, only two mugs with one badly chipped, hole in ceramic cereal bowl etc

Great location, cleanliness needs some work

The location of the flat was ideal for our visit in Marseille. Very close to Catalans beach and easy walking distance to the Old Port. Shops close by. The lighting in the flat is fantastic and there are mirrors aplenty.

Cleanliness - the flat needs a good deep clean. Surfaces are wiped, but walls, cupboards, windows and especially the shower need a proper clean. The sheets and towels are old and tired. Our pillow cases were also damp on arrival - probably because of the faulty washing machine (see note below).The bed is not terribly comfortable - it's a foam mattress and the "fitted" sheet didn't stay on the mattress, which also didn't have a mattress protector on. Nothing in the kitchen matches and the microwave was filthy. The washing machine was faulty and didn't progress to the spin cycle. The balcony had washing left hanging on it as well as other equipment, making it almost unusable. There was stuff left all over from previous visitors - nappies and a children's teddy. Most alarmingly was a large spot of quite severe damp above the cupboard in the kitchen. This needs urgent attention. A little bit of TLC and this will be a great place for anyone to stay.
