count your money after returning to your hotel room!!!

the stolen money was returned super polite staff, even the thieving cleaning lady gave me tea, apparently my sudden return to the room was not part of her plans close to the center

An amazing and very unpleasant situation happened to us at the hotel. My family and I were walking around the city. In the evening we returned and discovered that the bundle of money that we had left in the room was missing 200 euros. We counted the money before leaving and when we returned. We immediately informed the night receptionist about this and our desire to watch the recording of the CCTV camera that hung in the corridor. Let's skip the fact that he was sure that we ourselves spent/overpaid. In the morning we had a flight, so we left, the issue was not resolved. Later, I reminded about my desire to watch the camera recording through the official booking chat and the answer came very quickly. It turned out that the cleaning lady came into our room. She came in under the pretext that I allegedly asked her to clean the drain in the shower. However, I did not ask her to do this, and had previously refused her offer to bring a crib into the room. Next, we had a conversation with the owner of the hotel, she promised to sort it out and check the room after the departure of the people who lived there after us. Soon we received photographs in which two 100 euro bills lay neatly, one after another, under the curtain :) a wonderful miracle - no less! they sent us money to another country - for that, of course, thank you, its a pity that we had to pay the 20 commission ourselves))

A time-machine into 19th century Turkey

The hotel is a historical building with old furniture and 19th century interiors located in the heart of the Old Town of Antalya. A calm and clean place with an outstandingly warm and attentive personnel. For me it was especially important that the hotel is pet-friendly.

Very poor

Overal disappointing and uncomfortable stay

The only redeeming qualities we found was the location - a beautiful part of Antalya old town - and the buildings exterior (and the cats around it, of course).

I wanted to include my input since our experience at this hotel differed very much from this rating, and I use these ratings to choose our lodging. Beyond the fact that we could not sleep for all 3 nights we stayed here, due to the terrible sound isolation between rooms and outside, we found the service to be highly subpar to the amazing hospitality we experienced throughout our 2 weeks in Turkey. Starting with check in, we were given very obscure directions for parking, and it took my husband a few circles back to the hotel to try to get clearer directions. This was painful given the heat and distance (not to mention being tired from our long travels). Staff seemed completely unsympathetic to their unhelpfulness. Secondly, no information was given about breakfast as even an option at the hotel, so we wandered about old town in search of breakfast options every day (on the last day, we noticed there might be a breakfast option at the hotel). Thirdly, the bathroom of a superior room had all of 4 steps of walking space. Fourth and most disappointingly, we asked for laundry to be done at the hotel, which was pricey but convenient. We did give permission for our mixed colors to be done in 1 load, but in the 3 months of traveling and getting laundry done by folks mixing whites and colors, we have never had the disastrous result this hotel gave us. Newly purchased clothes and clothes we depended on for another month of travel were ruined, and it was obvious they washed a mixed load in hot water when we asked for cold. The staff was very defensive and argumentative when confronted. Overall, very disappointing and uncomfortable stay.

Taking all things into consideration I wouldnt choose to stay here again.

The property was in a great location, a few minutes walk from Kaleci Old Town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic, bread, cake, olives, tea or coffee (Turkish tea). The room was sufficient for our needs for two nights, bedding was clean & beds were comfortable. The stairs up to the bedrooms were cumbersome, especially at the top where there was no handrail which to hold which made coming down a little awkward for the first 3/4 steps. Could be dangerous for someone with mobility problems. There was no lift.

The bathroom was very small, there were areas in the bathroom that were dirty, bathroom door & window were both thick with dust. Shower was adequate.
