Unbelievable location but house needs renovation

Location is unbelievable. The view on the sea and access to the beach is super. The neighbourhood is very quiet and there are 3 restaurants within 500m. The host and his family living just across are super nice and helpful. The terrace and garden is fantastic to have lunch and dinner even in January. Bed was very comfortable. We slept like babies (even our 1y old slept like a baby :-)). Parking for our car. Full privacy as completely fenced.

The house itself is in desperate need of a thorough renovation. We were told that we were the last guests before the kitchen will be renovated. Which is very much needed. No warm water and leaking tap. There is a dishwasher but we needed to wash our baby bottles seperately so had to get warm water in bathroom. The house has some damp/moist issues. The sea being this close, this is probably normal. But this should have been tackled already. Ceiling in kitchen showed big signs of serious moisture issues. There was a problem with the electricity which made lights go out. But the host did ensure this was solved very quickly for which we were very grateful.. I missed the fact that I could not use a wine glass to.enjoy spanish wine. These were sealed in a closet. Furniture is very worn. Shower in master bedroom did not have hot water so we used another bathroom. We had a very nice vacation as the location trumps everything and we always had a solution for any issue that arised. As said before big thanks to Esteban and family. But had we known the issues Im not sure we would have booked.

Exceptional

Excellent stay in amazing views

The location of the property straight on the sea side was absolutely fantastic. Spectacular sun rises and sun sets could be enjoyed from the own terrace. The photos of the property were really as they were in reality. The host Esteban was waiting us on the property and explained and showed all the features of the property. Very friendly welcoming and he lived close by so help was always available if needed.

Renovation work on the next door house was a bit noisy but of course it is only temporary disadvantage.
