    We had an amazing time at ChienDe homestay. The first day we did a beautiful tour of about 6 hours walking in the forrest and in the rice fields far from touristic routes ending at Cat Cat village, while the second day we climbed the Fansipan mount with the house owner. He was great and we had a great time together. We also had two amazing dinners at the homestay, the first was maybe the best one we had in 2 weeks in Vietnam!
    The sink loses some water but this is not a real issue at all

    You experience the real sapa with this stay.
    We made special memories with Ze and his family. They show you the real culture of the Hmong people and you will experience it first hand. Ze speaks very good english and you can communicate with him easily. Tell him what you need and do the Trekking tour! All in all this stay was adventurous and is perfect for nature lovers.
    It was one of the most memorable stays in Vietnam.

    Very beautiful and rustic homestay. Made to feel extremely welcome. You are able to arrange tours and taxis through them also. Given the cold rainy weather, a warm shower was very much appreciated, along with the comfortable beds and bedding. We had dinner there one night which was fresh and tasty, served with copious amounts of rice wine shared with the family!
    A bit of a distance from the town but a cab is easy to get.

    The host is the best. He is so kind and make sure that everything is okay. We coul share an evening drinks rice wine with him and his family. We also made a trekking with his cousin. And the dinner we had in the homestay was delicious! Duck, Buffalo and spring rolls! The views are stunning

    Really enjoyed the very authentic ChienHomestay and the great hospitality of the entire family.
    Perfect location away from the busy town of Sa Pa, with superb views over valley and surrounding mountains. The ChienHomestay is a truly authentic family-run self-constructed lodge with excellent food, drinks and vibes. The (personal) trekking tour with host Ze is unforgettable. .
    Maybe some mosquito reppelent measures would have prevented too many bites

    Amazing homestay experience which exceeded my expectations. Went there for 2 days and 1 night. Chien was really friendly and helpful throughout the homestay. He was able to answer our queries at any time. We were there at around 6am and Chien was really welcoming, serving us tea and breakfast. The hike was amazing, and Chien brought us through different villages. It was really peaceful and relaxing, without meeting any other tourists. Did a total of around 18km. Overall, we were well taken care of throughout the stay, and we are grateful for their exceptional hospitality.

    Recommnded for a different local Experience in Sapa
    All the hospitality of Chien and his family, makes the experience different! If you are looking for a special local experience and go on a totally off beaten trek that only Chien and his family knows the route, please do stay in his place. He will take you too the easy-moderate-advance path crossing rivers and down to the beautiful valley. We went for a hike without seeing other tourist along the path considering April is high season, the route is so tranquil. Chien also invited us to have diner with his family, and that was a blast! Best experience ever! On the next day, his kids took us to swim in the river before we head back for our next journey. Thanks Chien, for everything!
