we loved every minute!! this is my 6th trip to lamai and will be staying at this villa from now on. great location not to far away from the main areas but not too close 2 min motorcycle ride from everything the host and staff was really friendly and helpful and also gives you your space to enjoy yourself

Disappointing

rooms are nice and the villa is decent sized. the pool is quite good too.

A lot. First off, location is fairly away from the main road - at least 12 to 15 minutes of walking down a fairly lonely dirt path to reach the main road or just a 7-11. If you don't have a bike, it can be a chore to walk up and down for a bottle of water. The place requires a THB20,000 deposit, something that i was unaware of when i came in because it was deep down in the T&C. No credit cards, only cash. Then the owner tried to charge me for the electricity during the stay -- it was waived off when I decided to check out after 3 nights (i had initially booked for a week). On top of that, i felt the air-con didn't work very well and I was worried i would be charged some atrocious amount if i used it as much as I needed it - even thought it was scorching hot outside. I was initially charged for water bottles, also waived off in the end. Not a single person came to clean the room in the time I spent there. No dining options on site btw, so you definitely need transportation to go around. In the end, i was just glad to leave.

Highly recommended gorgeous place with private swimming pool.

Gorgeous place, very very clean, hospitable hosts, great restaurant run by wife nearby, scooter rented via owners perfect and cheap. In quiet part of Lamai but everything nearby on scooter.
