Fall was a great time to go- few other people around. wonderful bird watching on the lake. bonus encounter with cute river otter family. we brought our own food so fridge and microwave were great. good shower. really appreciated that we could bring our pooch. Very easy working with owner on reservation and no contact checkin worked great.

The manager was very nice and upgraded our room at no additional cost.
Location wasn't the best due to the surroundings, but we got lake view. Also, a staff member decided to operate a leaf blower when my wife and I were relaxing at the deck enjoying a cup of coffee.

Nice area next to lake. Quiet. Owner had great suggestion for a sight-seeing stop along the way.
The hoops to jump through. Wouldve preferred to answer all questions during initial payment instead of doing it after the fact (ie how many people, pets, boats, kids, sign policy and call with credit card again).
