For a choice hotel chain, certain areas need improvement for 4-5 stars.

The room was clean,and queen bed soft, and comfortable. The size of the room was nice. The property and location was easy to locate and close to airport/shopping/food locations.

The bathroom floor around toilet was dirty and shower curtain. The breakfast over the weekend was not fresh, hot food leftovers from day before and watered down to stretch. Cold cereal offered but didn't see any milk. Scrambled Eggs were hard gray colored and rubbery . Arrived Saturday, left Tuesday am thats when fresh hot food was served including meat and cold dairy. The weather changed from sunny warm to wintery snow ice chilly. Being handicapped, I would have thought the facility would have removed the snow around under pass to entrance and put out some ice melt. Just glad I didn't fall. I even reported it was slippery, no concern. I chose this hotel because of the previous reviews and needed to be close to Iowa and Illinois state lines. Next long trip from South State will go extra mileage and stay in Iowa.
