Cook's Club Adakoy, Marmaris - Adults Only "Plus 16"

Great adult only concept hotel next to the sea. Private breach with (rather large) infinity pool next to it and various different places to sit, all on what is essentially an island not far from Marmaris. Food concept great too. Choice from 6 or 7 good stations. Order what you want and you pick it up when freshly cooked. Best of both, buffet type choice but freshly made restaurant quality food at the same time. Great cuisine types with lots of variety, we didn't notice any repetition in our 10 days stay. Good music throughout the day with live DJs at certain times. Great watersport selection next to the hotel. The hotel also has an action packed itinerary. Lots of it free with some paid options. We were never bored. Also did a half day boat trip round the area which was excellent value. Room was decent too both size and facilities. Staff service generally very good. We also used the hamman spa, not cheap for Turkey but some great package treatments. Also used the gym which was pretty good. Strongly suggest you go on one or two or the early morning treks with the hotel manager. Great way to see the island nature reserve and get some exercise. Really important - strongly recommend one goes for the all inclusive option. Glad we did. It's great value for money as going and hoc can be expensive and hotel is very isolated so no external choices nearby. All food was excellent and drinks menu in AI not too bad. Overall we really loved this place and would definitely return or go to one of their other hotels in the Mediterranean. Cool concept.

The rudest bad mannered check-in girl fatima and the guest relations manager is highly unprofessional and unskilled. The hotel is definitely not a 5 star as described. The place is falling to bits. The staff don't care, will never apologise to you, and are extremely argumentative. The rooms are very dark, cheap, worn-out furniture, and tired. The spa staffed not trained in sports massage and the lady nearly broke my spine with her unskilled massage. Extension dangerous practice. When I complained and told her to stop, the manager said I didn't have a high pain threshold and that they had never had complaints. Very reasonable staff that can not comprehend the concept of an apology. Constantly use the excuse of their English not being very good. No doubt they will make a thousand excuses to my review also, because that is what they do will all the reviews. The final straw was when they asked me to sign a disclaimer to say that I was very happy at an upgrade ( which was very basic also) and that I enjoyed my stay and wouldn't complain. Obviously, I refused to sign a disclaimer and advised then thar this practice of disclaimers is completely unlawful and wrong.
