Sufficient for a one night stay next to the Surabaya airport

Stayed one night at this hotel to catch my flight from the airport. Cheap and easy to continue your travels by already being at the airport. By the way, this used to be the ibis hotel which is still shown in Grab. Hotel is located on the first floor, rooms are on the same level as the reception desk. Rooms are descent, hot and cold water. Good wifi Had to leave early so didnt take any breakfast

Its located pretty isolated. I arrived late at night and everything was closed. Was not able to get any food, except for some small bites from the hotel itself. Ordering was also not possible because of the distance. The shower was mounted so low, that even an average indonesian person could not fit under. They mounted the toilet paper holder lower than knee height. Very unpleasant The airco made a noise like someone was scrathing on the wall. I reported this at the desk. This might have been particularly to my room (111).

Shuttle to the international terminal

It was convenient for an early morning flight. They also provide a shuttle car around to the international terminal, but you must pre-book it with reception, and there are limited time slots.

If you just need a bed at the airport, it is fine.

The hotel is directly in Terminal 1 of Surabaya airport. Therefore, it's an excellent location if you have an early flight the next day. It probably takes 30-60 minutes right out of your room to the gate. It's nice that you can watch the runway from your room!

The room is quite small and it is a bit weird that the shower is directly in the room, you step out of the shower in the main room, only the toilet is separated by a door. However, the breakfast was the worst we have gotten in any hotel in Indonesia. There is no buffet, but you get a box with either a very small sandwich or with an Indonesian dice dish. There was neither coffee nor juice, only water. Besides being too small and leaving us hungry, the sandwich was constructed in a weird way, as the lower outside was covered with mayonnaise and a slice of cheese, so you couldn't really grab it with your hands (and cutlery was not provided).
