Its not like we didnt like it but we think the money should be put back into buying more up to date furniture for the place and it would be even better .

Location, quietness & super clean. This resort is a 'must-stay' at resort.
Our dislikes below seem long but do not let this put you off staying there because this apartment & resort are delightful. The dislike message is left as a way of advising the owners of a couple of small issues because if I was an apartment owner I would also like to know these things.
The roof top terrace was pointless because all it contained was a table & chairs. There were no chaise lounge/s to enjoy it. All one could do was sit to eat. One could not lie in the sun. In fact the actual patio also did not have a chaise lounge. All one could do was sit at a table while outside. We would instantaneously return to Cotton Beach Resort because we really enjoyed our time there but for the lack of chaise lounges. We would request another apartment that had these. Patios & rooftop terraces are designed to relax on & one could not do that with this apartment.
We had the most atrocious weather during our stay where we could not leave our apartment on a number of days so the only way we could relax to read in the apartment was by lying on the sofa & the bed. A chaise lounge is an Australian imperative for apartment living and this was sorely missed.
The travel agent who we booked through never ever answered any messages left to them. We had an issue with the oven we needed their help with 3 days before our time was up but we never ever heard from them even though we left a message at the office & on the mobile phone # we were given. Likewise when we booked they never responded to any messages.

The accommodation was really lovely. Very spacious, well furnished and spotlessly clean. It was a very short walk to the beach and a short drive in either direction for quite a variety of dining options.
