Very good

The view from the balcony of the room is fantastic! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged a scooter for us in a few minutes and were overall very accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast while watching all the incredible bird species in the area!

Unfortunately the water heaters are tiny and having a hot shower is challenging. There probably isn't more than 2 minutes of hot water. The room wasn't checked before we entered - bugs all over the floor and dead flies in the curtains. The bedroom also doesn't have great linen - a bit yellow and holes in places. The same for the towels, they have seen better days!

Highly recommend!

Cozy cottage is the ideal place to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature! The cottage is located a bit away from Ella City (too many tourists, too much hustle and bustle!). Viraj, the hotel manager, picked us up where the taxi driver had left us. Viraj really cares about his guests and is extremely welcoming! My husband and I were also very warmly received by the staff, who were always smiling and friendly. We booked the room with a view of Ella Rock View Point: just breathtaking! The room was clean and spacious with an en-suite bathroom. The sunrise and sunset from the balcony are a marvel . Kitalella train station is a few metres from the cottage and it is from here that the path to Ella Rock view point is taken. Viraj organized a guide for us to go sightseeing in Ella: temples, Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam's Peak, Ravana Zipline... Nirmal(our guide) is a childhood friend of Viraj and knows the area very well. We had a wonderful, happy and funny day with Nirmal. We highly recommend him! Last but not least: the staff at cozy cottage really go out of their way for their guests!

Wonderful place with stunning view and great staff

We had a very great time in Ella at Cozy cottage! The room was spacious and clean. And the view is absolute stunning! The location is a bit far from city but we rented a scooter so we had the pleasure to feel free and ride wherever we wanted. Mr. Viraj, a staff member was really helpful throughout our stay, helped us with the scooter and the activities. Also arrange breakfast so that we could eat early before our next stop. The breakfast was also very good!!

You should know that location is a bit far. But by tuktuk and scooter, its worth it!!

Nice and friendly hotel with a stunning view in a wonderful landscape.

We did have a really good time at the Cozy Cottage Hotel, even if I felt sick. 3 Nights, stunning view over the hills of Ella, very clean facility, very friendly staff with a very professional hotel manager (I was sick and the staff took very good care for me and brought extra tea and health products). Thanks for such a friendly treatment. The Breakfast and Food at the restaurant was also very tasty. Close by there are some small hiking trails and the train station. By Tucktuck, you are in a short time to the center of Ella.
