    staff absolutely amazing food fantastic
    my fathers bath water wasnt hot you charged them a higher rate than our room which doesnt make sense my mums going to calm you tomorrow once youre open

    Lovely country pub. Perfect for a few days stay.
    Lovely country pub. Friendly staff. High quality restaurant. Very good breakfast. Will lend a book of local walks with 24 different routes. Nice 6km running route up Ham Hill. Very warm and cosy.
    Nothing to not like. Two of the rooms warn about possible noise from kitchen below (see website) but it wasnt an issue.

    Beautiful room, spotless. Lovely location. Quiet and super comfy bed. Delicious food. Cosy pub.
    Our room was over the main bar and it was a little noisy at times, however the noise did not continue late nor spoil our trip.

    Gorgeous character pub
    The staff were absolutely fantastic, especially George! Nothing was too much trouble. The food was really tasty and the rooms were nicely decorated. We really liked the EV charging as well.
    The food was pricey and the portions not particularly large. The room we stayed in was too warm, in the evening we had the thermostat on minimum and both windows open and it was still too warm for us.

    Absolutely magnificent venue in a beautiful village
    The pub decorations for Xmas were so beautiful and amazing. They had a magnificent private room, delightful lounge by the bar with really comfortable seating. The staff went above and beyond to assist you, really helpful with constant smiles. The food was delicious with some original ideas
    Need to put a dog proof rug in the bedrooms to protect the light carpets especially, when the weather is wet, with muddy paws.

    Exceptional stay!
    The whole stay was faultless. Felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Really impressed with the food offer. Very accomplished and confident cooking. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Stayed in the Vale room which was a really good sized room. Such good value all round. Thankyou to all of the team who made our stay so enjoyable
