Lovely room, poor food in the evening

Excellent bed, quiet and a good breakfast

Very low pressure on hot water. Meal menu and availability for certain foods was very poor in terms of evening.

Comfortable stay

We booked a family room with en-suite bathroom facilities which was clean, comfortable and fairly modern. The room size was ample for 3 of us. We were greeted with a warm welcome and enjoyed a very nice meal before we headed to our room.

Unfortunately, our room was directly over the pub and as it was New Year's Eve there was a lot of noise from downstairs with singing and shouting until gone 3 in the morning. The water pressure was incredibly low which meant the bath and shower were little more than a trickle. The room could have done with being a little warmer, the heating must have gone off in the night so it became quite chilly.
