We could not fault anything about the hotel or the service we received.

Very good
Great overnight stay
Modern. Friendly staff. Very comfy beds and excellent shower. Onsite parking.
Expensive at 130 a night for 3 star hotel. And in the low season.

Good
OK but not exceptional
The situation is fantastic and the hotel is a nice old building. Staff were friendly and helpful but sometimes a little overstretched. Room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Overall the price is on the high side for the standard.
Breakfast could be improved with some better coffee, luckily we had brought our own. A few maintenance issues in the room and we couldn't figure out the computerised radiators at all. More than one chair would be useful in a double room... Although the situation of the hotel is very good and views from the bar are fantastic, most rooms are in an annexe with no kind of useful view, ours faced the hill and was quite dark.

Convenient location and beautiful views
The check-in process was simple and carried out in a welcoming efficient way. The room was a bit smaller than we expected but the temperature and bed were both comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean and as expected. The view from our room was lovely - sunrise lighting up the range across the water.
