About This Property

This colonial-style house, run by the same family since 1889, is located metres from the beach in Vilanova i la Geltru. The rooms have natural light and views over the gardens. Hotel Cèsar features 19th-century elements such as the fireplace and library, alongside modern areas including the garden and restaurant. There is also a small hot tub and a sauna, which is free between 19:00 and 21:00. Massages are available. The Restaurant Gastronómico La Fitorra features maritime décor and opens onto a lovely terrace. It serves Mediterranean cuisine, including seasonal products and specials. Snacks are also available 24 hours a day. César offers décor based on Greek Temples and air-conditioned rooms with TV, safe and bathroom. El Hivernacle is a summer snack bar set in the pretty gardens. It includes a large salad bar. Superb

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they recommended some places to visit in Vilanova which we really enjoyed. The hotel has a charming character to it, compared to the usual modern and sometimes soulless places.

Superb

Great sea view two minutes walk to the beach.

The hotel is situated about two minutes walk from the beach. My room had a sea view which was a nice bonus. Unfortunately I only stayed one night so I was not able to use all the facilities. I would recommend staying at least two nights to fully enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Very good

Excellent restaurant. The set lunch was particularly good value. The hotel courtyard was a nice quiet spot to sit and have a drink. Very clean.

The rooms were in need of refurbishment. Strange window between the bathroom and bedroom gave a lack of privacy.

Very friendly staff, good location, be prepared for noise of events

Very good location, close to city centre with bars and restaurants (approx 15 minutes walk). Staff was very friendly at reception.

We stayed 2 days for the weekend in June, and both days the restaurant and hotel salon at ground floor had several events organized, which was very noisy from approximately 5-6 pm till 12 pm, until people were outside on the main terrace and live music was played with extremely noisy drums. We have been notified the day before arrival, when there was no option to cancel the booking. We tried to escape from it and be back as latest as possible in the room. Reception was really friendly, but they didnt really solve the situation or managing the extreme noise caused by live drums and instruments. Felt like the hotel and the restaurant is more concentrated on events than hoteling.

Short but lovely family stay

Great self catering apartment with private terrace. Comfy beds and adequate bathroom with good shower. Good location to walk to local restaurants. Friendly and accommodating staff. We didnt have the breakfast but it did look really good.
