Excellent quality stay with superb helpful staff

Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was okay as a solo traveller They also accommodated my autism and fussiness over breakfast. I would definitely stay here again

Fabulous - we'll definitely stay again, but in the main house next time.

The location was very good a short walk to the centre and literally just round the corner from the carpark. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The decor was lovely too. Had an exceptional meal at their sister restaurant The Loopy Shrew.

We were in one of the garden rooms and could hear every noise from next door and every footstep from the room above - not good when they come in at 1.30 am! However it was the only thing I didn't like and probably not something they can do much about.

Exceptional

Good location to stay at, plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room which other places we have stayed at you never seem to get enough of. Breakfast was excellent and was nice to be welcomed with a lovely box of truffles in the room on arrival.

Loved my stay here, really friendly, quirky and excellent food - would recommend ; )

Good location, friendly, welcoming and attentive staff, loved the quirky decor throughout, fantastic breakfast choice for veggies, lovely garden, very well kept and clean, comfy beds, lovely tea & coffee selection in room.

Surprisingly small room (albeit gorgeous) room. This was in the garden an upstairs room with no balcony.

Excellent choice of food for breakfast, freshly cooked and tasty. Location perfect for town and near to our family. Quirky decor. We visited shortly after Christmas and the hotel was festooned in decorations.

Not as luxurious as we thought it would be for the price.

Great location for central Shrewsbury.

Disappointed that we could not have a full breakfast Christmas morning as staff given the day off. Replacement tray was good, however no room to eat properly at a table. Sat on the bed to eat. Would have enjoyed a special breakfast for Christmas Day.
