    Always good to stay here.
Great room and walk in shower. Bed really comfy.
Room change/ tidy up staff on 2nd day did not come into room. She did not communicate with us, when I said she could tidy our room! I had to go to reception to get some milk for our tea in the morning. A smile goes a long way!

    Let down by cleanliness
Location excellent. Staff helpful. Parking very good. Bed comfortable and bedding clean.
Paid extra for pet friendly room only to find the carpet filthy and previous guests' disgaurded clothing left under the dressing table. Clearly, the room hadn't been properly vacuumed. Intended to use the bar area but didn't due to extremely cold temperature of seating area.

It would have been very good if only someone hadn't attempted to break into my room!
The room was clean and tidy, with an excellent walk-in shower and free wifi. Comfortable bed and warm at a time when the weather was atrocious outside. Good lighting, especially for reading in bed as it had a flexible spotlight which was very useful.
Unfortunately, my room was interconnected with another one, via an internal (locked) door. I am a lady who travelled alone and was abruptly awoken around midnight by someone (who must have checked in late at night, as I had heard nothing before this) trying VERY hard to get into my room through this door by turning the thumb lock, moving the handle up and down repeatedly and pushing hard against it. There clearly was a dog in that room too as, by this time, and with such a commotion, it was barking non-stop. I was terrified!! I called reception immediately and was told not to worry, someone in the other room had fallen over by the door and that was probably what I had heard. I felt it was all being played down very much and there was no concern or sense of urgency from the member of staff I spoke to. I said I absolutely would not stay a minute longer in the room and asked to be transferred to another. The staff member agreed to this and told me to pack ALL my suitcases, as well as my dog's crate and mattress and he would come up to help carry some of it. When I got to the new room at around 12.30 am I was so shaken up I couldn't sleep at all and left the next morning exhausted, facing a 4 hour journey home. In my opinion, adjoining rooms should ONLY be provided to people from the same family. Without a connecting door I imagine the rooms are very well soundproofed. However, doorways are not, and I could hear the people in the other room talking, their dog barking and their toilet flushing. What we are talking about is there being a real safety issue for guests and that, no matter what excuses Days Inn might come up with, is of paramount importance. This must be flagged up and policies on interconnecting rooms have to be changed.

Really surprised. Comfortable and quiet despite being, effectively, in a car park. Decent bed, decent room, decent price
Nothing... I wouldn't want a holiday there but as a stop over hotel it's great
