Superb

A beautiful and peaceful space for nature lovers

Diklande Estate Bungalow is a tranquil and verdant oasis not too faraway from the City of Colombo and as such an ideal getaway from city. The ambience of the bungalow and its surroundings is very special, the hosts are warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful and Sunila is a marvelous cook - the meals were varied and tasty - we even had pani-pol pancakes for tea one evening. Having a decent sized swimming pool makes a big difference. We saw and heard a lot of birds and were able to make a short excursion to Dambadeniya (30 mins by car) which was interesting...I would recommend Diklande Estate Bungalow as a beautiful retreat - especially if you wanted some quiet time to commune with nature.

The internet was not working while we were there - which in some ways was a blessing in disguise, but I think maybe having a good connection would be important for some.
