We'd moved to Dolphin House after a dreadful start to our break at another property, so this was a very last minute booking, but Carol and the Dolphin Family not only had everything ready, but let us check in earlier as we were travelling from nearby. Carol came to meet us and say hi, making us feel so welcome. The choice of rooms was wonderful and all the beds were comfortable. The upstairs master bedroom has a lovely sea view and is ensuite with a wonderfully powerful shower. One of the downstairs bedrooms has patio doors straight onto the garden. Everything was wonderfully clean and everything you could need for a great stay is on hand, with the kitchen really well kitted out. There were clear instructions for everything, a lovely welcome gift of luxury biscuits, tea, coffee etc. The living room is really comfy with a great TV and free wi fi and the dining room is so light and airy, with doors straight onto the garden. The garden is secure and perfect for kids and for dogs, with a lovely lodge at the bottom too complete with sun loungers and a little bar. The coastal path is right outside the back gate too, perfect for dog walking! The estate itself is quiet and the neighbours are really friendly, it's just a few minutes walk from the local shops and the Bourne pub, wich is also dog friendly and very welcoming with great real ales! There are take-aways which deliver locally too if you don't feel like cooking, but breakfast on the patio in the garden listening to the birds is absolute heaven! The whole feel of the house is like a real home from home and we loved staying here. My parents have mobility issues, so the off road parking and accessibility was a real plus as well. Honestly can't say thank you enough for a wonderful stay and we really hope to be back next year.
