Quite shocked to find such a poor place through Booking.com

The 'Hotel' was little more than a drinking den with rooms above. There was no facility for Tea or Coffee in the room - not even a glass. Breakfast was not an option and you could only exit through the bar where there were still people drinking from the night before.

Passable

No kettle or hot water for the room

I slept well, thw bed was comfy the room was cold and the blinds keot out the light. The bfast next door was great i had a good bfast on the go.

No kettle in the room no ootion for a hot jug. 2.50 for half a travel cup of hot water. All the plugs were at one location in the room.

Staff were good and helpful lent me a lockup for car did not know there was not a kettle for cuppa machine downstairs but at 2.50 a cup was too expensive otherwise good

Certainly NOT a 5 star hotel as the website says

One of the receptionist/bar server's was helpful in changing our room from one on the 4th floor to one on the 1st floor. There are no lifts and our daughter is disabled.

Having to stand out on the street for I don't know how long just to get in. At least 5 minutes. It was finally a customer who opened the door. The young lady behind the bar was also checking people in and she was run off her feet. The bathroom had mould in it (my husband took photos), the door frame had obviously been broken at one time. No lamps or any toiletries available. The place should be advertised as a sports bar with rooms above it. The beds were comfortable.
