Doughlasha Hs is a BB in Fossa Killarney, Co.Kerry V93 RX64. We are 10 min drive from Killarney town Center. A car is required. We are 20 min drive from Cronins Yard main starting point for Climbing (Read More)Carrauntoohil. We are also 10 min drive from Gap of Dunloe. We are on the Dingle Road, 1 hour drive to Dingle. We are also close to Ring of Kerry road. There is a pub 2min drive down the road called the Golden Nugget where food is served daily. Make sure you put in Eircode V93RX64 when looking for us or Doughlasha Hs, Fossa, KillarneySTRICKLY SMALL DOGS ONLY.
The rooms were cozy and comfortable, so the stay was nice to begin with. The Hostess, however, made it that much more fun and homey! She cooked up a tasty breakfast, was really nice to talk to and just added an overall positive and chipper vibe to our stay.
Definitely recommend staying here!

Location is close to: Downtown shops and eats, National Parks, Local hikes of all degrees.
Joan is a friendly accommodating host who wants to make sure the guests have a great visit not only to her place of business but to Ireland. If you want an authentic Irish experience, then stay here.
There were no downsides to the visit. The visit was too short as we could have spent more time using the park system and hiking. Downtown live music doesn't start until 9-ish :-)

Spotlessly clean room in close proximity to Killarney Town
Spotless clean room just a 10 minute drive from Killarney Town and of course, all its beautiful scenic drives (Ring of Kerry, Gap of Dunloe, National Park, Moll's Gap). Great shower and wifi, slept well. Good selection of food for breakfast. Joan was also very friendly and had lots of tips of local attractions in the area.
Just a small thing and far from a deal-breaker but the room was quite cold when we returned in the late afternoon. Granted, the temperatures had taken a bit of a drop that weekend but yeah, a blast of heat during the afternoon to take the sting out of the air would have been good. Wouldn't stop us staying again though

Best place in all of Ireland and the UK!
The owner was so friendly! She was probably the nicest host I've met during my entire 1.5 month UK/Ireland trip. She was very sweet and accommodating. She had maps of the nearby areas which were quite helpful. She let me use the washer when I needed it without charging me extra. She had lots of tips for the area. While I never stuck around for breakfast, she had plenty of different options to choose from that was included in the stay.
You will need a car in order to get here, it might be challenging to arrive via public transportation. Otherwise, no complaints! I would highly recommend staying here.
