    Perfect!!!
    Lovely amount of space. A good kitchen and a nice sitting room with room for the whole family. The bedrooms were a good amount of space with good storage for clothes and necessities. Would definitely return again!!

    Ellen's Cottage
    Lovely comfortable stay in a beautiful location overlooking Glencoagh Lough with Bluestack mountains in background. Very clean cottage ,comfortable beds, great WiFi. Everything provided. Hosts left us a gift on arrival (much appreciated) and would be on call if needed. Great for touring South Donegal. We stayed Easter week through a storm and also sunshine but a great place to relax in. The bird feeding station is interesting with lots of species turning up. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a break but also close to local amenities.

    A magical Donegal holiday in Ellen's Cottage
    A beautifully furnished 3 bedroomed bungalow with all the modern conveniences one would need and in a fabulous setting with outstanding views of Glencoagh lake and the distant mountains of Donegal. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a nice separate dining room. There were two outside seating areas and a beautiful garden with swings and a slide for kids if you had them. Mountcharles village is a short drive away for local shops and Donegal town is about 7 Km away. Saltill Bay beach is a hidden gem and 10 minutes from the cottage. The owners were very helpful in our communications and were always available to contact if necessary. The whole experience was very streamlined from arrival to departure. All in all, it was a terrific holiday.

    Unfortunately, the mattress in our bedroom was not to our liking in terms of comfort, but, as we are older in years, we may be a little less tolerant than other holidaymakers. It would not stop us from returning again. There is a quarry and engineering works some distance further up from the cottage which makes the little road outside busier than we expected, although the traffic noise did not register much inside the cottage.
