Very relaxing stay

Staff , including the hotel owner were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Made you feel very relaxed and absolutely nothing was any problem to them. We were guests at a wedding the following day and again they were extremely busy but 100% pleasant , professional and very helpful. The apartment is recently renovated to a very high standard and there are some works being carried out in the grounds at the minute. They were also very pleasant and kept disruption to an absolute minimum. Very pleasant stay and would return again

Disappointing

Lovely place don't stay not value for money.

Place is beautiful in the main area and grounds will be nice when works are complete. Wedding area very nice and views from terrace wonderful on a nice day.

Lodge door scuffed and dirty, noise from 6.30am of ground workers arriving then starting around 7.30am with load movement's and dropping a bucket from a digger not good. Day at wedding ruined with disturbed sleep should have went home. Went to reception no one there did stay for breakfast left

Drain (reported) smelt a little and soap dispenser in bathroom not working. Breakfast was disappointing

Wont be back

I thought I was getting hotel room but got there and and it was a cabin when inside I seen the shower was in a corner no privacy glass just there in a corner at back of that behind a pertition wall was the toilet and sink no door had iron in room but no ironing board if you plan on getting a good nights sleep forget it dont know what was worse mattress or pillows and to have paid 240 for one night was very disappointing also next morning at breakfast food wasnt the best tea and coffee where there I asked for a latte and was told I had to pay for that which was four pound given the fact the amount I had paid for the night I thought that was a joke
