    Location, staff and chef were excellent. The food served was good value for money.
    The staff were friendly and pleasant. The location was peaceful and tranquil which made for a very relaxing holiday. The rooms in the main building were cosy and warm.
    The heater in the triple rooms the adjacent building was not heating well enough.

    Staff very rude and one being aggressive when I asked to change a dirty kettle that looked like it came from a skip. Asked to speak to management wouldn't get them for me. Sent them emails and message no reply Leak is bathroom Dirty bed sheets Dirty shower.

    OK - a few tweaks could make it a lot better!
    The room was spacious and warm. The bathroom was really nice, with an excellent shower. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location with sea views and overlooking Bangor pier is great. Dog friendly, thank you!
    The quality of the bedding could be improved. The quilt and pillows were thin and the sheets felt poor quality. The lighting in the room wasn't right, I think different bulbs giving a warmer light would make the room feel more welcoming. Having said that it was a wet gloomy November weekend!

    lovely short stay in Bangor
    The staff are very friendly! The bed was super comfy. Shower powerful and hot. Location was fab - what a view out of the window! Breakfast was great.
    Not a lot of car park spaces.

    Friendly staff clean room lots of steps.
    The building is stunning and set in such a lovely location. Every thing you need for a nights stay was there we had ample coffee and tea and everything was clean. The staff were very cheerful and friendly .
    The stairs didnt bother me as we were placed in the top room so it was a lot from the outside to get it (75) my other half counted! He didnt enjoy them haha!

    Not that enjoyable, staff were friendly, but the services delivered were poor
    Nice location by the sea.
    The restaurant lighting was white and stark. The food was ok, portions were huge, the wine list was limited. In summary the dining experience was poor. We didnt even consider breakfast after the dinner experience. Generally the property was a bit scruffy.

    Nice friendly hotel in a nice location
    View was great from the room. I didn't use any of the facilities other than my room so can not comment on those. My room overlooked Bangor pier, Anglesey and the sea. My room was fairly basic but met the usual expectations of cleanliness and facilities - for example, kettle, a tv, hairdryer, Plug sockets at the side of the bed (a bonus at hotels these days, so they should be mentioned) and good Wi-fi in my room. The two different receptionists I met during my stay were very friendly.
    My room was up a lot of stairs. I was ok, but I can see that many people would struggle. I was right up on the 3rd floor of the outer annex building (no lift), which itself was up a few flights of stairs before you got to the entrance of that building. Parking is not really adequate for this hotel. It offered a small number of free of charge on street parking bays at the front of reception, which were all full for the entire duration of my stay, but I did manage to find free on street parking not too far away, but this can not be guaranteed and could be an inconvenience.

    Great B&B overlooking the Pier
    Really great that I could take my dog with us (as well as my sister!).We were given a big room on the top floor in the main B&B building. Plenty of space for my dog's crate in the room. Comfy beds. Good sized bathroom with decent shower. Room was quite warm when we arrived but opening the windows sorted that out. Nice view over the Menai Strait. Quiet area after midnight. Good night's sleep. Looks like the B&B had a lovely area for breakfast, meals and drinks - overlooking the pier. Sadly we didn't use it.
    We couldn't figure out how to turn the lights on in the stairwell up to our room. The light at the top didn't seem to be working, so we had to walk up in the dark, which was a bit awkward.

    Good value for money.
    Room was large, clean, warm, easily accessible, good value for money, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
    Not enough parking for the hotel, so had to park on the narrow parking restricted road, but departed early enough for it not to be a problem.
