    Will definitely be back.
I found all the staff to be lovely. The food was fantastic and I will definitely be back. I used it as my get away alone after Christmas and felt totally at ease being a lone female.
    No complaints at all.

    Good
    A lovely relaxing break
The spa and pool facilities were really good and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The lobby and restaurant areas were nice and comfortable. The food was lovely. The front facade of the house is beautiful and reflects a quintessential English Manor House.
The building was a little run down and is in need of works. There was a damp patch in the rooms down the corridor leading to the spa leading to peeling paint. The room itself was old fashioned and had a musky smell to it (as well as cracks in the ceiling). The gutters were overfilled so when we had a heavy downpour, it was leaking in the restaurant which was noticed by some of the other guests.

    Very good
A very relaxing break between Christmas and New Year
Very friendly staff and welcome. Very attentive staff in restaurant
The room, 33, was very warm and the mattress was a little spongy from our perspective. Some of the decor in the corridors looked tired and in need of a refurbishment.

Excellent stay in a beautiful building
Dinner was excellent and the food was delicious. We had drinks in the bar and the bar area was comfortable and looked lovely with the Christmas decorations. We asked for a ground floor room at short notice and the staff managed to swap rooms around to accommodate our request. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.
As it is an old building, you could hear people next door but it didn't bother us.

    Pleasant
Very nice location but not worth the price based on facilities and staff time.
The staff were very nice, very clean and it was situated in a nice location. Very pleasant grounds to walk around on despite it being winter time.
I was expecting to spend as much time with my partner there, especially in the spa area. We were very disappointed to find that the saunas were segregated into male and female which very much defeated the purpose of time together within the spa area. Also, after 10pm all the staff were gone, there was no access to drinks of any kind after this time, this was very disappointing.
