Very good

Great location, it was lovely getting to the bakery first thing and then wandering around before it gets too busy. Plenty of things to do which were walking distance. The bus route was great, we took the bus to Stow on the Wold and then walked back.

As previously mentioned, the stairs are steep and I was concerned re my son if he got up for the toilet in the night. The big bed seems to dip in the middle.

Awesome and was so peaceful and beautiful

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Bourton. Everything laid on and full of Helpful info for travellers in the cottage. Lovely warm heaters in all rooms and gas fireplace. Nice cosy area out the back to soak up the sun. Car space was a bonus as its in very short supply around bourton. Thoroughly Recommended and thank you for the opportunity to share your lovely cottage

Nothing really, just need to note that steps are a little tight but thats history for you -access To bedrooms and bath requires use of approx 8 steep steps

Great location wirh parking and decent facilities. Strange setup communicating with both the agency and the owner, clean

Amazing location. Dedicated parking. Back garden

Few things were a bit off. All the surfaces were a bit sticky like it wasnt cleaned in a while. The back yard BBQ looks like it has been never cleaned. There was no brush to scrub. Cutlery and kitchen supplies are very basic. The biggest issue was the shower. The shower head mount was broken and had to be held with one hand. Its already very small and just made it a huge challenge to shower.

Superb

Very clean! Excellent location.

So the heating turns on for a certain duration only.... The first night we were not aware of that so we had no heat. The beds are too soft for my preference and aren't fully flat.

Very Bourton on Water

The property location is fantastic. close to everything and right in center of the village. That said, it is a functional cottage, probably best for couples. Its very small in size. There are two bedrooms upstairs and single common toilet and shower. The owner provides towels etc,but no toilettries. One has a proper double bed, the other one is a super single. There is a lot of storage in the rooms and a nice book collection. There is also iron board, clothes dryer etc which one can use The living, kitchen area downstairs is also very compact. The kitchen is equipped with basics, though no dishwasher. . But then there is always the supermarket across the road which is open till 10.00 pm if you have forgotten your toothpaste or shampoo or want to pick up a heat and eat. There is ample parking space Getting into the cottage was a bit complicated as they send you a lot of information and login credentials. However the owners were very accessible and answered our calls even late in the evening and helped us get in. There was also a nice bottle of wine and some snacks to welcome us. The property is nice for a night or two, we stayed for four, and it started to feel cramped. I would recommend it for short stays. Also great for couples or freinds, not particualrly suitable for families with more that one child.

No Dishwasher in kitchen, No toiletries. Things like iron board and clothes dryer are kept in the cupboard under the stair and were difficult to access.
