Warm welcome, dog friendly, excellent food menu, great breakfast, friendly staff.

Bin outside for dog food tins, food wrappers and dog poo would have been good.

Great location for Dartmoor

Very friendly helpful accommodating staff. Breakfast very good and dinner good. Tea/coffee making facilties in the room Warm and comfortable

Some grout in the bathroom was black, could have easily been cleaned with bleach. Shower curtain had black on it, needed a new one. If both of the above was done it would make a big difference to the bathroom

Not bad for the money. lovely staff

Lovely looking family run ,classic British inn. Fabulous location on the edges of Dartmoor. Lovely friendly staff and carefree relaxed atmosphere. Had a fun looking bathroom on a split level s.Good sized bed

the room was very basic and needs redecorating .The restaurant food in the evening was very disappointing and bland and we waited over an hour for it. .breakfast was very small.

ideal location with a great breakfast

the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, location was ideal for our purposes

due to its location on the moors and the fact that it is an older establishment the heating came on late and we started of being cold in the room as no supplementary form of heating was available
