    Amazing - from the room that was clean to super kind service, amazing breakfast with variety of foods to choose from.
    If any inconvinience occured, we talked it out with reception and they were super nice and ready to help. The only thing that could be better was a bit higher pool temperature.

    Felt so classically Austrian!
    The hotel was really beautiful and felt so Austrian which was fun as it was our first time in the country. Our room had a lovely sitting area with windows overlooking the pool. The outside area looked stunning. I wish we could have enjoyed the pool and outdoor area. It was very convenient having a restaurant at the hotel although very few people spoke English and the menus were not in English. Thankfully google translate on our phones saved the day!
    There was no AC so our room was very warm and the beds were fairly uncomfortable. I wish we would have had more pillows. The shower was also set up without a curtain or door so water got everywhere when showering but the bathroom itself was beautiful.

    Don't write bad reviews or you'll get a rude answer!
    Good filter caffee, local honey and home-made cakes for breakfast. Inner court with a view to the pool and mountains is beautiful. There's a restaurant in the building.
    Some rooms are a bit outdated and small (+view to the street is not very lovely). There's no air fan in the bathroom. The curtains are not enough thick/dark for a good sleep. No salami/cheese for breakfast. Otherwise ok. Additionally: I've read the rude comments from the hotel owner at the other guests' reviews and I didn't like the offensive tone. But I will not be quiet about my personal review and the hotel's response to it. If the not so good reviews bother you, remove your hotel from Booking.com! Answering to your guest like "Do not come again, if you don't like..." is simply unprofessional! Furthermore, my comment about the fan was about the absence of "electric device for moving the air around" (as described in Cambridge dictionary) in the bathroom, thus, for bad odours, not for heating or cooling. Wish you a lot of great guests who will not dare to write anything bad about your place!

    Our host Caroline was wonderful. So pleasant and interesting to talk with. Enjoy the amazing breakfast and dont miss a dinner at the restaurant. A stroll through the property will leave you feeling tranquil and rested, especially if your visits to the citys and museums have been crowded with other vacationers. We would recommend Gasthof Hotel Doktorwirt to any that want a beautiful place to stay in Austria
