I like the place and location.

I personally felt some smell which is not pleasant. Complimentary Breakfast is mostly idli and sambar and chutney is like water and dinner is worst. We asked for pepper chicken and we got some chicken soup.. Food is the worst.

Scenic beauty of nature is awesome. The staff is not professional and we had to wait for food. If you are late for check in, please carry food. There is no any decent restaurant around. The beds were not upto the mark, even the bed sheet and quilt were untidy and look like kept without cleaning after use. The surrounding was not clean. If you are selecting this place just for a sleep in the night, it is worth for the money. But as a facility, they have to improve a lot.

Very good

Our stay in the mudhouse was a joyful experience. The surroundings of Kanthalloor are very beautiful and the staff were friendly.

It says on booking that the mudhouse has a shower/bath, but this is not true, there is only a low tap for washing your feet.
