Exactly what youd expect for the price - basic but warm, clean and comfortable.

Rooms are a little tatty with basic furniture, but are clean, warm and comfortable. If youre just looking for somewhere to lay your head and are on a budget then theyre perfect. My room was on the ground floor and was very quiet - I was never disturbed by other guests.

None of these were an issue for me, but the listing stated Cable Channels and Netflix, but there was no TV in the room - check this before booking if its important to you. Also, the leaflet in the room says there are 2 showers and two toilets, but there are actually only one of each.

Room was lovely and clean with an excellent view of the city

the shared kitchen - fridge was full of out of date products (don't know if left from previous tenants)

If it wasn't for the efficient, fair and courteous way my intial complaint about my bed was dealt with on my arrival at the property my rating would be considerably lower.

There was no desk or table in my room to sit at to eat and the communal room outside my bedroom was so drab and shabby I ate sitting on my bed with my plate on my knee.

It was a DUMP!'!! I sent YOU an email when I arrived at the DUMP - TELLING YOU TO ORGANISE ME SOMETHING BETTER. YOU NEVER RESPONDED.!!' I WAS A LONE FEMALE TRAVELLER, EVEN MORE VULNERABLE. AS I HAVE SEVERE LONG COVID - RESULTING IN EXTREME BREATHING PROBLEMS ETC,ETC - LEAVING ME IN A VERY WEAKENED AND EXHAUSTED STATE BECAUSE - IN MY RETIREMENT I VOLUNTEERED TO RETURN TO NURSE IN MY LOCAL HOSPITAL -IN THE FIRST LOCKDOWN AND CONTINUED TO WORK THROUGHOUT ALL THE LOCKDIWNS - EVEN VACCINATING IN EARLY JANUARY 2021!'! DURING XMAS 2020 AND NEW YEAR 2021 - WE ALL HAD TO DO ONLINE STUDIES AND EXAMINATIONS - PLUS - HAVING TO READ NUMEROUS 20 PAGE DOCUMENTS TO ENABLE US TO ADMINISTER THESE COMPLETELY NEW VACCINES TO HOPEFULLY PROTECT OUR LOCAL POPULATION FROM DEATH!'!!! WHILST THE REST OF PUR FAMILIES AND THE COUNTRY WERE TRYING TO ENJOY OUR FIRST LOCKDOWN FESTIVITIES!!! NOT FORGETTING - I'M A MUM TO X2 SONS AND A VISITING MOTHER IN LAW - TO COOK FOR AND ENTERTAIN NOT ONLY DID I DEVELOP COVID TWICE I ALSO GOT ATTACKED IN A/E BY A VERY FRIGHTENED AND VULNERABLE PATIENT. THE TRIP TO NORWICH WAS TO SEE MY AUNTY MARGARET - WHOSE DEMENTIA HAD JUST DEVELOPED INTO WHAT COULD BE THE TERMINAL PHASE OF THAT CRUEL DISEASE SO - EVEN THOUGH - I OFTEN STRUGGLE TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AT TIMES - I GOT ON A TRAIN - BOOKED MY STAY VIA YOUR WEBSITE ON MY TRAINLINE APP.. Pay a bit more get a hotel and a good quality mattress.

Basic accommodation adequate and nearly always available to book. I wonder why?!

The mattress provided was horrible. It was almost shot. Very cheap poor quality even when it was new. Which it wasn't. For a slightly higher price I stayed at a hotel last night and got so much more for my money much nicer room brilliant mattress tea and coffee facilities etc. Always good idea to pay a bit more.I won't make the same mistake again!!
