    Access straight into the centre of Citta Alta with the main attractions, shops and restaurants all pretty much under a 5 minute walk away. The staff were always happy to help and went of of their way to gain information about attractions we wanted to see and supplying a bottle of red wine for the room. Bathroom was lovely and they are currently trialling more sustainable toiletries which was really nice to see. The breakfast selection was great.

    I would highly recommend the Gambit and you have the added bonus of the church bells waking you up at 7.30am so theres
    Brilliant location in the beautiful historic old town - no wonder it is Capital of Culture 2023 - its a very classy hotel - the rooms are superb - we had the Superior Double with a sofa bad and it was very spacious and comfortable for 3 adults. Its walking distance to numerous restaurants/cafes/bars and a couple of minutes walk to the Funicolare which takes you down from Citt Alta to Bergamo.
    There was nothing I didnt like - I could not fault it.

    A modern elegant hotel in a historical building
    They care about sustainability in a very elegant way. Very central location near all attractions. The experience of the funicolare which is a small train/bus to reach the shopping streets of Bergamo
    They dont have a kitchen so breakfast choices are limited but the quality of food was very good
