    Things are all very small to fit everything in a small room, which made simple things a bit of a faff

    Warm and welcoming place in the heart of Snowdownia.
    I was only really there to sleep and have breakfast however the little time I was there I was made to feel very welcome. Colin and John are very thoughtful and I like the nostaglia and warmth from the place.
    It's exactly as I expected. If you stay here and you have something bad to say then you haven't looked at the property before booking.

    Colin and John were very welcoming hosts - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was exceptional and a cut above anything we have had elsewhere. We would definitely recommend Gorphwysfa to anybody staying in the area. We will definitely be looking to go back.

    Great location, welcoming and friendly hosts, nice to have tea/coffee, water and some chocolates, biscuits in our rooms. Let me put my motorcycle in the lockable garage. Very nice breakfast with a good selection. Thanks Ash

    For my own personal escape, having just lost my father to cancer. Im glad I chose the Gorphwysfa B&B
    The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Only to happy to give out local advice and suggestions for days out and to relay current weather reports. Introduced me to other guests. The full English breakfast was superb and plentiful, with a wide range of choices for the healthy and hungry, including orange juice, toast, coffee etc Presentation was also excellent. Clean and tidy setting. Friendly atmosphere I slept well (a first in a while) because the beds were so comfortable. The room was very nicely stocked with welcoming chocolates and assorted bottled water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Small kettle provide me with plenty of cups of coffee!

    The towels were a little rough, so maybe introduce softer ones. This didnt reflect on my stay as everything I needed was catered for.
