Beautiful rooms and gardens

Lovely property with beautiful expansive gardens and pool. Room was beautifully styled, super clean, spacious with a huge modern bathroom. Staff were all so nice and welcoming from reception to breakfast staff to the gardening crew. Breakfast each day was cooked fresh to order and the scones we received on check out were delicious. I look forward to staying again in the future.

Nice room, nice garden

Overall facilities were lacking. No food or alcohol onsite outside of breakfast and tea/coffee. Considering the cost, the overall offering was very poor.

Superb

Basildene is a stunning location, quiet and serene. Highly recommend.

Clean and quiet. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Love the pool and tennis courts being available.

Charming B&B style Hotel

The beautiful historic building and gardens. The room is newly renovated and well appointed. Swimming pool and tennis court. Conservatory where afternoon tea is provided. Excellent breakfast, including fruit, poached fruits, continental and a menu for choice of cooked breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.
