    Very fun trip
    Great facilities, beautiful room, super peaceful.
    Overall staff in restaurants and pool were very helpful. Front desk staff not friendly at all. Need some training in customer service.

    The stay was very nice! Staff were very friendly. The glass elevator was a great experience for my 4 y/o. Wish we had more time to explore all the cute shops.
    Few doordash options. Food was pricey.

    Fun, large resort!
    This resort is huge! I felt like there was a lot to check out and see in the building alone. It was too cold to go golfing, but the course looked great.
    It was a bit far from downtown traverse city, but thats okay. We were aware of that when booking.

    Underwhelming
    For the price difference we chose not facing the Bay, and what a view of the parking lot we had. We have been coming there for years and the hotel has declined in our estimation. The amenities are not great. The coffee is not even drinkable in the room, therefore, you have to go down to the lobby and pay for drinkable coffee. The staff is not very friendly. Im looking elsewhere for our future trips to TC.

    rooms have been renovated,facilities for swim and fitness good.
    housekeeping not provided, but able to replenish supplies and empty trash with phone call. a nuisance not a big problem in the current environment.

    The shower in our room plugged and the water leaked into the room and closet. Our luggage and my wives shoes got all wet. We were moved to another room. Because we booked through booking dot com they said there was nothing they could do for us on our bill as it was paid through booking .com. They said they would have a manager call us but we never heard from them. We love the Grand Traverse Resort but we are a little disappointed that something wasn't done.

    I was close to the pool enterance and there was a lot of people running up and down the hallway being loud. My AC/heating unit was fairly loud too.

    I was extremely unhappy for the price that I paid there was no microwave in the room. They wanted to charge me $15 extra
    Clean thats about it
    When I arrived, I went to check in the front desk person was extremely rude to me. I told him that I needed an extra bed which I put in the Booking.com reservation. He told me that he would not give me a bed. It wouldnt fit in the room and then he told me he would give me a bed but he was going to charge me $15 as Im not paying $15 because it says in the ad that I get a rollaway bed for free then I went to dinner or later in the day and the food was horrific and the service was not great The picture is of a Caesar salad. They tried to charge me eight dollars for it. They did give me a refund but I was still mad because when I was hungry.
