Passable

Nice pool, but a few things to be aware of if you book

The pool was clean and really nice to swim in, there were toys provided in the pool for kids, the rooms were well sized, and there was plenty of air conditioning available in rooms and loungeroom. There is also a carspot which was handy. The street is tight, so there is no parking on the street.

The floor and house in general wasn't clean. The water pressure was really bad, so showers weren't a great experience, and taps were slow going. The bed we were on was broken, so it was really uncomfortable. Also, a big one for me was payment. We had a lot of trouble trying to contact the property before we arrived. The number advertised didn't work and i messaged several times and just got a generic response. So we turned up and just let ourselves in. About an hour later, someone turned up asking for cash payment. We booked through booking.com, which the reservation confirmation said we could use a number of different cards to make payment, but she wouldn't accept anything but cash. She was quite rude about it as well. We escalated the issue after it wasn't going anywhere and eventually got onto the owner who owned another place and was able to accept card payment through that place. So it got resolved, but just flagging to anyone booking this place, don't read the booking.com confirmation as they will only accept cash.

the property was well located, clean and the owner was very helpful through the stay

some basic items were missing like hand towels and kitchen accessories. on request the owner agreed to purchase those items and the problem was easily rectified

It was pretty dusty, smelled strange, was generally old and in need of repair. The beds felt dirty and were really uncomfortable - some v hard, some way too soft. The toilets ranged from prison like to ok, but generally not at all good. The pool area was badly in need of a facelift, not generally conducive to relaxing around. The front entrance was basically a big heavy sliding gate that was a struggle to pull across and to lock the place there was a padlock for the patio sliding doors. Didnt feel like the most secure. When i asked about extra towels, the host didnt want to know. Overall, really bad place. The reviews here must be fake.
