- Room made random sounds - You can hear everything from the neighbours - Sauna had only 60-65 degrees - Spa in general quite underwhelming - Breakfast was not good

You can somehow hear a little noise from the next room. Not that soundproof, but it was okay.

First time in Malta and I'd definitely come back.

Use of the gym 24/7 and access to the spa pool from 7am - 9pm was great. Fresh bedding and a freshen up of the room more than 3x during our week stay. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Nice size balcony to enjoy a view of Valletta in the distance. Very kind cleaners. Lovely coffee shop with nice seating area at the entrance. Interesting art in the rooms and a nice modern and clean feeling. Good location as close enough to the promenade without it being busy and noisy at night. When we had a little problem with our TV, maintenance came very quickly and helped to resolve the problem. A very grand entrance to the hotel and some very lovely touches that made it feel luxury when we arrived like the aroma, the Christmas tree and the fake fire place.

I loved our stay but just some small pieces of feedback to help improve it. Some of the gym facilities were already starting to become worn (loose screws and buttons on the treadmill getting stuck). It would have been a nice touch to get some robes and slippers for the room that could be used in the spa rather than getting changed. An extra layer on the bed, possibly a throw/blanket, would have been great as this could have been taken out on the balcony or on the cold leather sofa. It was a little disappointing to find out the rooftop bar was closed during our stay. I understand it was December but it was warm enough to enjoy. Not the fault of the hotel but we did experience some power cuts during one night which wouldn't have bothered us but the emergency light inside the room would switch on each time waking us up as well as the beeping. Some instructions for the oven would have been really useful as I struggled to cook successfully with it - more of a me problem I'm sure!
