    Ive never stayed in a guest house like this before so I didnt really know what to expect but it was a wonderful experience and if I come back to Kyoto Ill definitely be back. The host, Tommy, was so kind and I met a lot of very interesting people staying here.

    One of the most unconvienct place to stay. Only the staff is kind.
    It is unreasonable check in time by 9pm. Never heard about that. For ling distance traveller, it is inconvenient. Arrived at 10pm and charged neither additional day is ridiculous.
    The opening hours r bad for long stay. Besides sleep, u cant use the facilities much. You can access 12-pm-5pm. Again , never heard about that. Even some place they dont have staff at certain hours but guests r still able to access.

    Nice host and Strategic location
    Few minutes walk to the Nijo JR station, strategic location. Tommy is very nice and friendly, he makes delicious sandwiches as well. Glad that we had chosen here during our stay in Kyoto.
    The staircase is a little steep, but Tommy offered to carry our luggage for us.

    Tommy was a very welcoming and kind host and made every effort to make every guest feel comfortable.
    Tommy is the kindest host, very polite and attentive to all of the guests. He also makes delicious egg sandwiches for breakfast.
    The room was really tiny and the beds quite hard, even for Japanese style rooms.

    The place itself was super cosy and it felt like home from this first second on. But that mostly was because of Tommy, who made this stay just perfect. Such a friendly human being, super helpful, kind and respectful. I would love to stay again. Im quite tall (192cm) and the bed was a tiny bit short, but still very comfortable and I slept like a baby :) highly recommend this place. And the sandwich for breakfast was so good!

    Loved the breakfast and green tea. Tommy was so helpful gave us a great recommendation to see Toji on the 21st because there was a monthly festival going on with loads of great market stalls.

    Good place to stay in Kyoto
    Host was very nice and helpful. Organised everything for my visit to the sento which was kind. Room was nice and cosy. The breakfast was Homemade in the morning. Faciltiies where clean.
    Breakfast was a bit scares - but very good.
