I like everything except one thing
The huge picture of a nun at the entrance consists of small pornographic photographs. As for me, its just blasphemy to do this in a place of prayer, even in a former monastery.

    Really cool monastery stay.
I liked a lot the experience of staying in an old monastery. The bed was very comfortable and the room cozy.
The corridor light remained on all night. It should be possible to make it a sensor-based light to prevent spending energy on this and to prevent light leakage trough the window that sees the corridor.

    Poor
    Chaotic and tiring.
The historical vibe of the hotel. All the rooms and facilities were quite clean. Location was great since it was pretty close to the city center and I could reach most important areas by foot quite easily in 5 to 10 minutes.
Parking: I checked in at 8pm. They charge 25 euros for parking per day. Fair enough. But they don't let me park my car there till the following evening for 24hrs. They say I must take my car out when I checkout at 11. After a lot of haggling they allowed me to keep it there till 4pm. Rooms: The lights weren't working in the first room I was given. Upon going and informing the reception downstairs, they came up to the room, checked it and moved me to another room. This room was quite noisy. I could clearly hear the couple next door going at it at 12am in the night. A false smoke alarm goes off at 2am in the night. I wake up and go out fearing for my life. Then I go back into my room once I'm informed it is a false alarm. Then guess what? It's quite funny really. The LIGHTS STOPPED WORKING. I asked them when it will be back. They said it should be back soon. But no. They never started working at least till I checked out the next day at 11, quite tired and sleepless to say the least. The staff was not very polite while I tried to reason with them about the parking especially. I was "recommended" to go read the policy. Well, I wouldn't stay here again for sure.

It's a beautiful, comfortable and historical hotel--what can you ask for more?
The old monastery atmosphere was simply just wonderful. I was amazed by how peaceful and how beautiful everything is. I was provided bath rope, slippers, shower cap and towels. The shower and toilet were very clean. My room smelled so nice as well. The from my window I could see the old fashioned colored glass windows of the building, which is just fantastic!
Before falling asleep you will be able to hear people in the hall way who are locking/unlocking their doors. But after falling asleep I didn't hear anything.

    Unforgettable
Unique experience of living in a nuns cell :) Staff were extraordinarily friendly. Fascinating location. Walking distance to the university and allows you to explore the quieter side of the city centre and the excellent local cafes.
Understandably, sound proof was not part of the plan when the building was raised in the 19th century. Better bring/provide a pair of earplugs.
