once the water problem is fixed, nice little place ..

quiet at night - friendly and helpful staff - good breakfast - good internet - a little off the places of interest .. (except Swayambunath)

stayed in room # 02 - no hot water at all - neither tap nor shower - cold tap water was only available in small quantities - problems could not be fixed - so 4 days without shower ;-(

Did not live up to our expectations unfortunately

Friendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfast.

We had high expectations because of the reviews but gurungs home did not live up to them unfortunately. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom. However the price quality ratio was not ok. We have honestly slept in better accomodations during our annapurna circuit trekking for a fraction of the price. For the same price as we paid for gurungs home we stayed in much more luxury accomodations in Nepal afterwards. Hot shower was only available one morning of the three nights we were there. And there was hardly any pressure on the water so taking a shower was not really possible. Wifi was limited in the room we stayed in. I would not recommend staying here off season since it is not possible to sit inside (so its cold) and during our stay the garden was mostly occupied by local friends of the staff.
