On the edge of the Hardangervidda National Park with links to 220 km of cross-country ski tracks, Hakkesetstølen Fjellstugu is in the Geilo ski area with its own restaurant and free sauna. Built in (Read More)a traditional mountain lodge style with modern pine interiors, each room at Hakkesetstølen Fjellstugu has views of the surrounding mountain terrain. Some rooms have private bathroom facilities and some have a flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player. The restaurant serves a range of traditional Norwegian meals, and the lodge also has a small souvenir shop and a lounge area with an open fireplace. The centre of Geilo is 6 km from the property by road, and 3 km cross-country. Guests can rent boats on-site for fishing on nearby lakes, and mountain biking is also popular in the area.
