    The room was nice and clean and the staff where fantastic very helpful and polite
    The menu and the food itself where terrible the portions where very small very limited on what we could actually order and the taste of the food was very poor

    Never stayed before but will definitely be staying again.
    The bar is very comfortable and a great place to sit and chat, we loved the room also. Being in a remote location means its very peaceful

    Disappointing.
    Beautiful location and building could have been spectacular.
    Really uncomfortable bed. Poor choice at breakfast as when things ran out it was not replaced. Very basic which is fine, but shouldnt be sold as 4 star! At best a 3 star.

    Beautiful venue and setting , food is excellent
    Service ! Weve visited several times to stay over and just for food and the service is consistently slow . Last night we attended a function and the meal took over 2 hrs 30 mins to serve and the bar queue was rediclous. Often there is no staff at the restaurant bar or reception and everything seems to take forever to do . It really lets down what is otherwise a beautiful venue .

    Heating was broken but staff did all they could. Service in the restaurant was extremely slow, missing items to those detailed on the menu, bad coffee, terrible service & miserable waitress during breakfast

    Enjoyed, good value and would stay again
    It was a beautiful build and style, the gardens were well kept and beautiful too
    It was a bit tired and needed a bit of TLC! But you could see were some modernisations had been made
