Very good

Very pleasant stay staff were very welcoming bar staff was excellent as was the assistant manager

Really nice hotel very friendly staff, liked the fresh milk outside our room door on the first morning stayed for two nights it would have been nice to have it on the second morning as well. Room was very clean and comfortable.

The stairs to the suite we booked, are very narrow and a good climb, definitely wouldnt be suitable for anyone with walking conditions, that said its part of the charm of an old building. The check out billing is a bit chaotic, we settled our bill the night before we were leaving for an early morning start, however we did receive a further bill the next morning that apparently hadnt been included. Other than this hiccup it was a very pleasant stay.

Superb

Lovely comfortable pub

Very clean and comfortable, professional staff, friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast. Very nice coffee machine and a nice touch of sloe gin in a very smart decanter.

The room felt a little small, outside noise and the ensuite was a flimsy partitioning in the room.

nice decoration of room. Lovely staff. Sloe gin was a nice touch. Cooked breakfast was decent.

Would have liked cafetiere of coffee. Bringing cup of filter coffee - it went cold very quickly. Not much option on breakfast buffet. Maybe granola or mueseli rather than including on menu? Could hear road - not very well insulated. More tea bags, please.

A wonderful hotel with great food and lovely service.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful, the dinner was wonderful and the room was just perfect, would highly recommend and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Nice dog friendly hotel near good dog walking locations.

Dog friendly

Room was a little small. Room wasnt cleaned during stay. Reserved table for dinner. Advised when booking we would have a dog with us. Reserved table was in restaurant where dogs are not allowed. A table was made up in the bar so we were accommodated but would have been nice as part of original booking.
