Coachmans Cottage

Loved Coachmans Cottage very cosy bed, very comfortable everywhere was spotlessy clean. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Definitely going again. Staff were very friendly and made us so welcome.

Great location rooms and splendid food

Stunning property in a great location. Good value for money. We attended a Christmas party night - food was superb at the function and breakfast was freshly cooked with great choice. We stayed in the game keepers cottage which was 2 small rooms, one being a lounge area with tv, sofa, kettle, fridge and microwave so great if staying for a few days and you didnt want to eat out. The other room had a large double bed shower and toilet/ sink. The only downside was bed was up against a wall and could do with a new mattress to prevent the roll together. The cottage wouldnt be suitable if unsteady on feet as it has 4 high steps to get into it, and the room is accessed around the back of main building up an uneven path. The room had lovely character.
