    Dating from the 1580’s, Hawthorn Farm Guest House is set in a Grade II listed house, 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Buxton. It offers country-house style rooms and home-cooked food. Rooms at Ha (Read More)wthorn Farm Guest House are located in the main building or the converted barn and farm buildings. They feature flat-screen TVs with digital radios, feature beds and bathrooms with free toiletries. All rooms have free Wi-Fi access. The traditional dining room has original exposed wooden beams and serves cooked and continental breakfasts including yoghurts, muesli, cereals and jams. Countryside walking routes surround the house and Buxton Train Station is a 10-minute walk away.     Great breakfast, great location.
    Good location - On a bus line (right outside), close enough to the train station as well (15 min walk). Excellent breakfast - Customizable each morning, the cook was amazing, and sufficient options, one of the highlights of my trip. Will be a pity if this location becomes a self-cater in the future as the breakfast was really amazing. Amazing room cleaning service (we were really muddy and dirty every day due to weather despite trying our best to be clean before entering the room).
    If I had to nitpick, a coat hanger by the door entry would be nice (room 1 - triple room). Also the TV remotes were a bit finnicky in choosing when to work. My fault for not asking for help though!

    Excellent place to stay when visiting Buxton
    Location was great. Paul and Sarah were really warm and welcoming. Recommended some lovely pubs for food and drink. Breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit with yogurt followed by an amazing full English. Loved giving their golden retriever a good fuss too
    Couldnt improve anything, they had thought of everything to make our stay perfect
