    I'll be back next year.
My room was surprisingly large and it was nicely furnished, but not lavish. It was clean. The heat is radiated hot water from the springs. Natural heat, like Iceland! It works well. Some might find the fan for the radiator loud. It sounded like it might need service or replacement. The natural hot baths are the hotel's main attraction and they are as advertised. Watch it out there. There are plenty of slippery areas.
I thought it would be nice if there was a breakfast buffet, or similar, available. Due to few rooms and its popularity it is very difficult to book a stay. Book three months or more early if you can. If you book on short notice and actually get a room you are fortunate.

The hot tubs are old and really badly in need of repair. Inside women's tub scary.

Local favorite, saves money vs the pricier hot springs hotel options.
Huge room size and you can park right in front. Very clean and comfortable beds. Great for kids who want to enjoy the hot springs multiple times thru the day. Close to the Hippy Dippy Springs as well (pro tip - go in the morning!) and within walking distance of the main shops/bakery/restaurants and the park.
Older building so every step or move above us was very loud and actually shakes the beds. It made it difficult to sleep. Also, the bed frames are metal and we all hurt our shins multiple times.

Walking into the room the temperature was wonderful and warm. The location was amazing. We walked every where in town
The water temperature was weird. It took forever for the sink water to warm up. And then there was a sweet spot in the shower. If you didnt hit that spot then the water was boiling or freezing.

    Soak, but don't stay.
    Large room.
The construction of the newer motel structure was flimsy. The walls and ceiling were thin and not insulated. You could hear simple talking from all the other rooms next to you and the people above walking around. The pool and private pool areas are very old and worn out .

We love the peaceful vibe and the alcohol-free environment.
We loved the central location, the motel-style convenience, the large thermal pool, the friendly staff and the fact its a small, family-owned business.
The rooms have a strong smell of cleaning products. Would be nice if they could use a more herbal scent like rosemary, lavender or mint. Also its hard to regulate temperature in the rooms so its very warm.

This is the place to stay when in Pagosa Springs!
The natural thermal pools were the best! We have traveled across the US in search of the best thermal waters, and this is one of the best! Certainly the best value for the money! Our room was quite adequate and comfortable. Staff was friendly, and location superb.
There is no breakfast, but that didn't bother us because we were there for the thermal pools.
