The worst Hotel experience of my life

The location is the only "good" thing about this hotel. What a horrible experience!

My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Downtown was the worst I've ever had in my life. Every single contact with any of the Hotel's staff was unprofessional, rude, and disgusting. Breakfast was included in my reservation and they gave me a hard time to simply acknowledge this fact. The grill restaurant gives only two options of meals and they will make you use the same silverware to eat your dessert. It's the worst service I've ever seen in any company. Also, they will try to overcharge you in EVERYTHING they can. Please, stay away and don't waste your money on this place. At the restaurant, the waitress refused to serve and give us the beverage menu. On top of everything, the lady at the reception insisted in charging me a bill for breakfast (which I refused to sign) even after I accessed the Booking app and showed her the details of my stay. We had a lot of luggage and nobody moved a finger to help us. Nobody gave us instructions on how it was necessary to use our cards in the elevators. It was also a surprise to learn that I had to pay $45 to park my car in the Hotel's parking lot. This was not clear at all when I made the reservation.

no full time resturant, breakfast buffet only. 16.99. really? guest staying should only pay 12.99, outsiders 16.99 verify by showing room key. bar wasnt staffed properly or set up properly. should have small kitchen for lite sandwiches, burgers and fries, small appetizers
