Disappointing

the hotel is located in a very good location, breakfast was good and the restaurants was okay

we booked park view king guest room and for the first night they gave us single twin bedroom, for next 4 nights they gave us king size bedroom but the view was horrible everyone from halls could see us they gave us 20% for first night but they charged us same as the park view king guest room and that was very disappointing we spent 50% of our time in vienna at reception :(( on the photos you will see what we booked and what they gave us.

It was a great experience

The property was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The hotel location is very excellent, near to the shops, malls and halal restaurants. 10 minutes walk to the city center.

It was really hot in the room (23.5 Celsius), even though the thermostat was set at 20.0. Upon calling the reception we were told that nothing can be done since its winter (??). Not sure how does that make sense, but after weve told that its impossible to sleep, theyve said that their maintenance team is present only until 10pm. A known-name hotel which charges ~200Eur/night should take care of the services more serious.

+lady at room service on 31 dec. at 1945 hours very very helpful and polite -bravo to her +breakfast variety and time extended clever and acceptable for 38,00 per person. +porter on check out was polite enough at least, booked a taxi and kept our luggage which is the minimum you expect from this person at hilton. +bar lobby food very good . +waiters flexible to our requests . +morning lady 01 January stefanie also polite in a dual shift only

-the staff attitude to a family arriving after a 7 hours journey -very robotic .their main task was to collect money .. -during new years eve stay, even the 4 star hotels offer something to guests paying 400 euro per night -not just a cold plain room for this night.... -toweling and face towels were not replaced daily -nobody told us that during our stay in 2 different floors cards must be always with us in elevator to inter move within floors. -our requests were clear, and booked before the 16 november -confirming from your system after some days, that were going to be satisfied which were very simple, double bed for my self and my wife, and twin bedded for the kids, as well as rooms close to each other. -during check in the answer was a NO from the person checking us in round 2100 hrs. I quote .... "sir it is impossible we full,. " then I showed him the email answer and tried to explain that we have requested this a month ago and we have received a positive email for both...., but no reaction... -then I explained to him that you are full today and not the day of request ... but he would say am sorry there is nothing I can do... -when you work at HILTON you must be able to represent the name in your culture .... we are not robots -phone identity of concierge or reception from room dial never responded ... Hilton as a building without its guests and loyal guests would not have been a Hilton , may be its time for the management to be present and or keep standards as expected to make it value for money ... am available to share these to your general manager if he/she feels my comments from a professional hotelier might help his team to improve even more...
