    Location to town and the room was clean
    Location to town and the room was clean. Enjoy an evening of camaraderie with friends and family around a bonfire at one of the homestays. Share stories, play games, and savor the warmth of the fire in the cool mountain night.
    Wifi is weak.

    Great breakfast. Good location, right in town with view of the mountains. Trek through terraced rice fields, visit ethnic minority villages, learn about Hmong culture and traditions.
    The room could have done with a fridge and maybe some seats to enjoy the balcony.

    The view over the town and mountains all around . The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable + the bathroom was very functional and large. Staff and host were so friendly and welcoming , and our room was spotlessly clean with lovely decor and lots of light from a huge window opening onto a large balcony . The breakfast with outstanding views all around , and we had our breakfasts freshly prepared each morning .
    The mountainous terrain and altitude may pose challenges for those with respiratory conditions.

    The staff here are exceptional and very kind
    The staff here are exceptional and very kind. One of the best home we have stayed at in Vietnam. They also provide a delicous breakfast, consisting of a set menu ranging from noodles to eggs.
    Room temperatures may vary, and climate control options could be limited.

    Great location, friendly and helpful staff, good size room and nice bathroom. The highlight of the trek was the homestay perched on a hill, offering panoramic views of the valley below. The Hmong family hosting us lived in a simple yet charming house. We spent the evening around a crackling fire, sharing stories and cultural exchanges. The night sky, free from light pollution, revealed a breathtaking display of stars.
    No fridge in the room.

    New and clean. Great location. As we trekked, the host shared stories about the customs, traditions, and challenges faced by the local communities. It was enlightening to witness the symbiotic relationship between the people and the Sapa land.

    I loved every single thing about the property
    I loved every single thing about the property. My view was absolutely stunning! It was centrally located. The breakfast was great every single day. The staff and the home is worth coming back for every single year. Early in the morning, I met my local guide, a friendly Hmong woman, who would be my companion for the trek. We set off on a trek that promised stunning views of terraced rice fields and picturesque villages. The leg of the journey was challenging, but her knowledge of the terrain and her stories about the Hmong culture kept me motivated. Theres too much to see in Sapa so I will definitely be coming back!

    The host and staff who own the property are unbelievably kind and accommodating - going above and beyond to help their guests at all points; from letting us keep our luggage during the day on our last day, to taking breakfast to order in the mornings. The room itself was spacious and comfy, with access to a large communal balcony that acts as a sun trap on sunny days. Location-wise, once you find it. It is a rare gem, it enjoys a central location but is far enough away from the hustle and bustle to have a quiet night's sleep.
    Our biggest gripe was finding the homestay itself.

    The view!! Amazing! Amazing staff. The staff that runs the place goes above and beyond to help you with tours. Breakfast is good. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. We had our transport back to Hanoi after the checkout time and the owner told us we could keep the room for free until we had to leave.
    Communicating with locals may be challenging if you're not familiar with the local language.
