Best Value for money

Good for money, good for value, available swimming pool for all ages, delicious food for breakfast. Overall, Hock Lee Hotel is the best hotel for traveller especially they upgrade my room with the bath tub .

YOU COULD DO BETTER.

The location, the room level 10 has amazing riverview. The room was great and pretty clean and neat. It has safe box, iron and iron board. Has many powerpoints which are great for charging and stuff.

I did not like the reception staff. He was on duty on 31/12/23 before 3.30pm. I was still in the queue and there was one pax in front of me left, yet he asked me to shift to the next line only because he wanted to close shop. I had been waiting in the line for more than 1 hour just to check-in and the crowd was massive as he was the only reception staff at the counter before the next staff came in at 3.30pm. I only managed to get in my room after 3.30pm and had to miss my makeup appointment for a function to attend that evening. The breakfast the next day was a disaster too. Only one attending staff in the diner to monitor the ground. The refills were late and unsatisfactory. We went as walk-ins and paid RM20 each for such a horrible breakfast spread. No milk, cereal was almost finished, rice was hardly there, pastries, bread were gone before time. They should check with the occupancy record upon serving the breakfast.

Disappointing

The location is very near to town.

The cleanliness of the hotel lobby, the hallway and the hotel room need to improve. The carpet look dirty and didn't vacuum at all. The comforter has blood stain on it & request for housekeeping to change it & there is a yellowish stain on it.

Staff was helpful & attentive

The cleanliness of the room and the maintenance of the building. Basement parking does not have the most helpful signage especially at night. Confusing for those already exhausted from travel.
